Well this past weekend we went to Discovery Kingdom with Jill and Jason. We had a great time. First off we got there an hour before they opened, so we got a really close parking spot. We got our tickets right away and was able to get in the park. But then we realized that they make you wait in the entrance area of the park after you entered until they open, so we had to wait about 20 minutes. Once it was 10:3o am they untied the ropes and let everyone though. The first ride that we went on was the Medusa and then we went on Kong. I felt a little lightheaded after I got off of this ride. We immediately went to Kong and got on right away. That's the benefits of getting there early we got on 2 rides within a 1/2 hour. After that we went to see the Sea Lion show, that was pretty good. Jill and Jason arrived when that show started, but they went straight to the rides and had to wait in a long line. We met up with them a little while later and hung out together. Jason was like a big kid, he wanted to go on every ride. I went on a few rides but didn't go on everything. One of the rides that we went on was "White Water Safari", that one definetly cooled us off since we were soaked by the time we got off. Greg got soaked the most. He would walk and water would come out of his shoes, I should have taken a picture. We didn't see all of the shows that we wanted to but since we got the Big Six Pass we can go 5 more times before January. So we plan to go once a month until then. By the time we wen to the safari side of the park to see the giraffe's and tigers it was closed, so we want to see that next time. Gives us more reason to go, ha ha. We left the park when it closed, we were all pretty tired. Greg, Brandon and I ended up going to dinner at Katana-ya, which is a japanese restaurant in El Cerrito. We ran into Jill's Auntie Lorraine and Uncle Ron. So we all had dinner together it was nice to chat with them since we haven't seen them in a while. By the time dinner was over it was almost 10:00. We went back to Greg's grandma's house and all fell asleep soon after we visited for a little while. Below are some pics.
