Sunday........

So today is Sunday and it's a relaxing one. My day started by sleeping in until 9:45am which is reallly late considering I usuallly get up by 7 on a weekend. But I stayed up until 2am playing cards with some friends. Had a great time. I started playing Cafe World on Facebook, will see if I get addicted to this game. ha ha I hear people talking about it all the time so I wanted to check it out. There are a few more games that everyone talks about playing but I don't want to get to involved with these games, then I'll be on the computer all night long. ha ha Well I am also watching the Kings game, hopefully they will win this one. This afternoon I have to go to Walmart, which is not a place I look forward to going but I'm hoping they have Easter baskets that I'm looking for. Since I've already gone to Target and Dollar Tree and did not like the ones that they had. So will see. I also have to get a vacuum for work, I went to Target today and they were all out of the one I wanted to get. Ok well hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday as well.

2 more classes finished

So this past Sunday I finished 2 more classes. I'm satisfied with the grades but always hope for better. I ended up with a A- in my IT class, and B in my HR class. My HR final was not as good as I thought it was, oh well at least I passed. My new classes are Accounting 250 and Math/Algebra. The funny thing is lately I've been getting help from Brandon when it comes to my math homework. It has been so long since I've done any algebra equation solving. I'm glad Brandon has been able to help me. ha ha It seems pretty funny that the child is helping the mom when it comes to homework.

Excited I got my 1st Coach purse......

So this weekend I went shopping with one goal in mind, which was to get a Coach purse. I have never had one before and I wanted one. I do have a Coach coin purse and make up bag but never had a purse before. So my mom and I went to Folsom Outlets on Sunday and I went to the Coach store there but didn't see anything that I really wanted. Then today Greg took me to Vacaville Outlets and I was in heaven, there was so many different ones that I wanted to get. There was a lavender one but I didn't think that it was practical for every day use. So I ended up getting a black and grey one. It was reguarly $348, but after the extra 20% off discount for President's weekend and the other sales I only paid $120 after tax. I was excited!!!!

New TV

So this past Saturday I went to Fry's and bought a new tv for my bedroom. It took me a few weeks to decide on which one to buy but I'm happy with the one I chose. I ended up getting a 26" Toshiba Flat Screen w/ HD. I got it for $300 and I had $60 in gift cards which even made the purchase that much better. That afternoon we went to Comcast to get a HD cable box, I was happy and sad when I exchanged the box. I was happy because the quality of the cable channels that I was going to be able to watch. But I was sad that I had to lose all of my dvr that I recorded. I had to start all over, which sucks. But oh well, they will play all of those shows again at some point (I hope). ha ha But overall I'm happy, and I love watching tv in my bedroom now.

Upcoming Graduation

I know this is really early, but I was notified by University of Phoenix that I will be eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony this September. I will actually finish my classes in October. But I will have enough units in September to walk the stage. I'm excited, since this is a huge accomplishment for me. It has taken me so long to come this far. I may pursue my Bachelors degree after this but still not sure yet. So Saturday, September 18th 2010 will be the day to walk the stage. Since it has taken me this long to accomplish this I will be so happy on this day since I was not sure if this would ever happen. But I guess better late then never right....more details to follow as dates get closer.

New Year's Resolutions 2010

I know it's been a few months since I posted anything so I thought I start the New Year off with some resolutions for the upcoming year. I saw on my cousin's wife's blog about resolutions and I thought that was a great way to start off for my 2010 blog. Here it goes.....

This year I would like to accomplish the following:

1. Lose Weight - Won't say how much but LOTS
2. Try to do more family outings
3. Accomplish and get my AA degree in Accounting
4. Learn how to crochet Amigurumi dolls.
5. Hopefully make more $$$$ and save LOTS

I will keep you posted on my accomplishments as they happen, wish me luck. Especially on #1.
